PKF Russian-speaking cluster meeting in Taschkent, Uzbekistan

From 31 October to 2 November 2018, the 6th meeting of the PKF Russian-speaking cluster took place in Uzbekistan. In connection with the 15th anniversary of the host company PKF MAK ALYANS, the meeting took place in Tashkent, the capital and largest city of Uzbekistan. 22 delegates from 16 PKF firms based in 10 different countries, including CIS countries, Luxembourg, Germany and Austria attended the event.
The event was opened by a welcome speech of Ikromjon Urinbaev, Managing Partner of PKF MAK ALYANS and a representative of the ministry of economics of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who spoke on the Uzbek-specific characteristics of audit profession. During subsequent presentations, firm members presented their new service lines, provided updates on tax regulations and legislation and discussed current market developments.
Dmitry Vavilov and Anastasia Suslova participated in this meeting and represented the PKF Russia & CIS Desk in Duisburg. Anastasia Suslova introduced the service portfolio of PKF Fasselt and its China Desk, shared her experience with Chinese clients with the colleagues and highlighted opportunities for a closer collaboration. The meeting was closed with a vivid discussion on the opportunities and strategies for further cooperation between the member firms of the Russian speaking cluster.
